What I'm doing now.

- Work
Leading engineering at Max Connect Digital as Director of Development. Kudos AI, the attribution platform I architected, was just named a finalist for Best Attribution Tool in the Digiday Technology Awards, which I'm proud of the team for. Day to day: platform architecture, growing the team, and making AI-assisted engineering the default way we work.
Always happy to talk engineering leadership. Say hello.
- Building
Ledger, my personal-finance app (name TBD) with its own MCP server. I use it every day. Outpost, which gives every Laravel branch its own isolated VM using Apple's container runtime. Summit, my Laravel + Vue starter kit. And this site.
- Learning
AI, constantly. MCP is my obsession right now: MCP servers that give agents real access to data, and MCP UI apps that put interactive interfaces right inside the chat. It's a really interesting space.
- Reading & listening
Reading The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings series, plus Nate Bargatze's book. Listening to a lot of synthwave: The Midnight, The Bad Dreamers, Kalax, Carpenter Brut. Just finished House of the Dragon season 3, so I'm caught up.
- Life
Getting ready for a trip to Europe. My son is playing all of the baseball. My wife just finished her bachelor's degree. I'm playing drums and guitar a lot more, and building custom VST plugins for Logic (with Claude, of course). Lifting weights and working out a bunch.
